1. Public beta
Trustiv is currently in public beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice, and data loss — while not expected — is possible. Do not rely on Trustiv as the only record of anything important to you. Beta access may be limited, waitlisted, or revoked at our discretion.
2. What Trustiv is
Trustiv is an AI-assisted household decision platform. It helps you compare prices, track inventory and subscriptions, plan trips, and make purchasing decisions using data you provide and the sample catalog data we supply. It is a decision-support tool, not a store — Trustiv does not sell products.
3. Your account
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate account information. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. A household may have multiple members with different roles; owners and admins can manage membership, and anyone you invite can see the household data you share with them.
4. AI-generated recommendations are not professional advice
Trustiv's recommendations, decision scores, and explanations are generated in part by AI and from sample data. They are informational only. They are not financial, medical, nutritional, legal, or safety advice, and they can be wrong. Always verify prices, availability, product details, and anything affecting your health, safety, or finances before acting. You remain responsible for your own purchasing decisions.
5. Sample and third-party data
Much of Trustiv's catalog — store prices, travel options, provider pricing — is sample data used to demonstrate real functionality, not live market data. Where we do integrate a real partner, that is stated in the product. Prices and availability shown in Trustiv may not match what any retailer actually charges at the moment you check out.
6. Affiliate relationships
Trustiv may earn a commission when you shop through certain partner links. This is disclosed at the point of use, and it never influences what Trustiv recommends or how options are ranked — our recommendation scoring has no access to affiliate data at all.
7. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges at the advertised price until you cancel. You can change plans, update payment details, view invoices, and cancel at any time through the billing portal in Settings. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't provide refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use Trustiv to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, upload content you don't have the right to upload, attempt to access other households' data, scrape or overload the service, or reverse-engineer it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload — receipts, images, lists, profiles. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you: storing it, processing it, and sending relevant parts to our AI provider to generate your recommendations. You can turn AI processing off per person in Settings, and you can export or delete your data at any time.
10. Availability and warranties
Trustiv is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and during beta we make no uptime commitment at all.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Trustiv is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any purchasing decision you make based on its output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Termination
You can delete your household or your entire account at any time from Settings. Account deletion removes your login and personal profile permanently and cannot be undone. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, or if we discontinue the service.
13. Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected in the 'last updated' date below, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
