Scanning receipts

Upload a photo of a receipt and Trustiv extracts the store, date, total, and line items. Nothing is written to your household until you've reviewed the extraction — OCR on a crumpled receipt is imperfect, and silently importing a misread total would corrupt your spending figures.

Once saved, receipt line items become your real price history. That history is what lets Trustiv tell you whether today's price is actually good, rather than just showing you a number.

You can add items to your inventory directly from a receipt's line items, one at a time, so a grocery run updates what you have at home.

Deleting a receipt removes the record, its line items, and the uploaded image itself. Anything you already added to inventory from it stays.
