Deleting your account or household

Deleting the household removes every record it owns — inventory, receipts, subscriptions, lists, family profiles, everything — for every member. Your login survives.

Deleting your account removes your login and personal profile. A household where you're the only account holder is deleted along with it. A household you share with other real people survives, and you're simply removed from it — erasing one person shouldn't destroy everyone else's data.

Both actions require typing a confirmation phrase, because neither has an undo and neither is a soft delete. Records are removed rather than hidden.

One thing is deliberately kept: an audit log entry recording that a deletion happened, without the deleted content. That's so security events remain accountable after the fact.
